Hi there, guys! Today, I have something really exciting to share with you. I have been trying the new Beachbody Body Beast workout and as of the writing of this post, I am three weeks in. Let me tell you how amazing it feels to get my beast mode on and I totally love, love and love the program. The exhilaration that follows a weight lifting session is like a high for me. I have always preferred programs that do not put limitations on what a woman can achieve and as a result, this program that has been created equally for men and women and has been designed to turn us into beasts.

Putting on too much “bulk” is where most women are concerned and why I wanted to talk about this specifically.

Ladies, you cannot turn into huge muscular ‘hulk’ like monsters just by lifting weights.

For those of you who stay away from weight lifting and want to focus only on cardio, you have no idea what you are missing out on. If you continue keeping your workouts strictly cardio, you will NOT build any muscle and as a result you will always have that skinny fat look, which frankly is no good.

The ideal physique for women, the one I absolutely love is the ‘lean’ one. The lean physique has a good muscle base coupled with minimum body fat.

When I tell women I have been lifting weights or that I am doing the Body Beast program. They look at me like I have gone bonkers and ask me what if you become huge like those female bodybuilders. I am taking this opportunity to tell all women, please wake up! Women cannot build muscles like that, it is absolutely impossible unless you start popping testosterone supplements pills and bulking like there is no tomorrow.

Weight lifting will not make your voice go hoarse or make huge muscles pop out all over your frame. It won’t happen! What it will do is help you burn a lot more calories, in fact your body will be burning calories even while you sleep. You will have sexy muscles and you will feel strong and invincible which is possibly one of the best feelings in the world.

There are two categories or options in the Body Beast workout program. One is the Huge Body Beast and the other is the Lean Body Beast. The Lean Body Beast, as the name suggests, is ideal for women as it focuses on shedding fat and building lean muscles. Now although it focuses more on shedding fat, in order to keep the muscle building balanced, I suggest you follow my example and add more cardio. The type of cardio you add really depends on what you prefer. You can go for Focus T25 cardio, or Max 30 or even CIZE if you like dance cardio.

By adding extra cardio, you can start losing weight faster while building muscle as well by keeping it balanced. So, if you are worried about becoming too bulky or huge, well stop! First, you cannot become huge so there is no point in worrying about it and second add more cardio to keep the weight training balanced and you will be amazed at the results you will soon see.
