Thank you for posting this! I am actually starting this today and needed to get my paleo friendly groceries!
This is great! I’ve thinking of trying the Fix Paleo style, I already eat mostly that way, just need a little tweaking! This is very helpful! The yellow is the only thing that I’m hesitant about. Do you guys get sick of eating sweet potatoes/ yams & plantains every day? I would love to hear a few of your favorite ways to make them.
Thanks Amy & Kevin!
Thanks Amy!!!
Would you consider raw snap green beans paleo? 🙂
No — technically peas are legumes
Great post. I had read a little about the Paleo diet before, but I don’t remember why it is bad to eat legumes. Can you explain? Thanks!
Love this post. I have loved following you on Facebook. You are so inspirational and I always learn something new. Thank you.
Thank you for connecting with me on social media!
so I have Crohn’s disease and I’m looking to change things up a bit to heal my belly on the inside and on the out. I’m allergic to sweet potatoes, instead of having multiple servings of plantains would you suggest adding another purple in or just cutting down my yellow containers? just curious about your personal opinion!
I love plantains! You get yellows from almond milk too —
haha I’m actually intolerant to that, too. issues! I’ll just stick with plantains! you’ve 100% inspired me to try new things. I’m super excited to give intermittent fasting a try as well as paleo — as soon as I do research and find where to get all of the best ingredients.
Why should you not cook with olive oil?
Hello Amy, I have been following your youtube channel, and I love everything you stand for. Good job on how you deal with stupid negative comments. I have the 21 day fix and was wondering what kind of breakfasts i can make. I’m a firefighter and the guys basically make biscuits, sausage gravy, hashbrowns and bacon ….like every morning. I cannot continue eating what they cook. However, I would like to cook them something that isnt going to kill us lol. I would love a go to paleo fix breakfast.
This is awesome, thanks Amy!
I was trying to figure out what plantains would be considered, since the 21 day fix meal plan doesn’t list it out. I did a google search for “plantains on the 21 day fix” and there was a thread on the 21 Day Fix facebook page where the moderators said that plantains aren’t 21 day fix approved? They said they were higher in sugar and carbs than bananas.
What are your thoughts? I’ve been following you for awhile now, and I trust you fully for fitness/nutrition advice so I just wanted to get your take on it 🙂
I’m going through this round of 21 day fix eating paleo, according to this list!
Love this! I have been doing the whole 30 with my fix containers! Great post!
Thank you for Paleo-fying the 21 Day Fix! In order to fulfill all yellow containers every day do I need to rely solely on sweet potatoes, yams and/or plantains? Is it necessary to fulfill all yellow containers every day?
