I want to take a moment to recognize some very special coaches on the Set Your Soul on Fire Beachbody coaching team!! Every week we take a day–a recognition day–to celebrate each other whether it be for weight loss, goals we are achieving or self promotions. These 3 very special coaches not only gave themselves raises this week but they did it by helping people! Please help me congratulate them by commenting below and taking the time to read their inspiring stories:
Drew: He’s a working hubby and father of a 7 year old girl who was overweight to the point that he had to do something about it. He emailed me after we connected from a life changing event (for both of us) called Tony Robbins Unleash The Power Within and was looking for a change. He joined the team as a coach and started working on his health journey while helping others to keep him motivated! I have found that the people who help others on their journey are more likely to take off the weight and keep it off and drew is KILLING IT! While he has a good job he’s tired of being stuck in a Corporate America job where someone else tells you where to live, what to drive and what you’re worth by how much money to pay you. He’s now down almost 40 lbs. helping others, staying accountable and building a home business simultaneously so he can design the life he wants for his family! I love watching you Drew, it’s not often a guy can really rock this business and you ARE!! I def think you’re top coach material and I can’t wait to see what you do with this! Your attitude is everything and your journey has been inspiring to watch!
Ashlee: I was on the phone with Ashlee last week and she said to me “I couldn’t of picked a worse time to become a coach!” She’s living with her sister, babysitting 4 kids every day while they get their house remodeled and is under a lot of stress but she realizes there’s no “perfect” time to make your dreams come true, so she’s doing this for herself! She’s a 28 year old mother of two rambunctious boys and married to her best friend! Although she’s never struggled with weight, she has struggled with exercising and eating healthy which is important no matter what size you are! She was very active and played a lot of sports in high school, but since then she have not made the time to continue to exercise. She also has a dream to be a stay at home mom. She’s known she’s wanted to be a mom her whole life and being a coach would allow her to afford that comfortably as well as help people! YOU’RE A SUPER MOM Ashlee! You could {insert excuse here} but you’re doing YOUR best and forgetting the rest which is better than nothing!!!
Chandra: My first mention of her becoming a coach she said “I feel like I need to get my shit together before I help anyone else” which I think a lot of people think! That’s why her story is so amazing to me because I simply explained to her that “Being on your journey is being a coach! I think the word “coach” can be defined the wrong way when you approach it like a typical coach but a Beachbody coach is an advocate for the tools on their journey (which never ends.)” She then told me she would love to inspire people to live a life they could only dream of she really WANTED to coach but the concept seemed crazy to her and she thought she had SO FAR to go before she could get close to her goals. She started listing all the reasons “I’m so out of shape, overweight,,, and generally pretty miserable with myself the biggest reason why I started ALL OF THIS is because I feel like somewhere along my journey,, I just lost myself….” well turns out Chandra, YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION and she’s helping people while she’s finding herself and feeling good about herself on the journey! There is no destination, just the journey and I’m so glad you realized that!!
