It has been a long time but Shaun T is BACK!

As you know Shaun T is one of my favorite trainers, Insanity showed me that I could get down to a size 2 and that I had a lot more in the tank than I ever thought I did and Max 30 revolutionized the way that I view fitness so I could not be happier that Shaun T is bursting back onto the Beachbody scene with Shaun Week starting June 12th!

What is Shaun Week?

Shaun Week is 7 days of focused, intense, brand new workouts on Beachbody on Demand. He is going to release one workout per day starting June 12th and has said that this is going to be a fun, challenging, motivational week that will focus on getting everyone connected to their fitness and motivated to keep going after Shaun Week is over. If you have ever done any Shaun T programs you will recognize the format of the workouts as they are based on his revolutionary programs Focus T25 and Insanity.

Sounds Insane, I don’t know if I am ready for all that.

You may be thinking that you are not ready to jump into a program from the maker of Insanity but let me assure you that you are. There will be a modifier that will allow you to stay on your feet the entire time and not go to the floor if you are still building up your fitness level or if you are dealing with an injury. I am firm believer that we are all capable of a lot more than we give ourselves credit for so do not be afraid to push yourself and modify where you need to. Since this is taking place on Beachbody on Demand you will be able to stay committed to your fitness goals after you have built momentum from Shaun Week and continue to go back and test yourself against the workouts.

So what are the workouts?

Day 1 – Insane Basics — It sounds like it is going to be simple but you can bet that it won’t be easy!

Day 2 – Pure Cardio Part 2 — Can you say an extension of old school Insanity? Sign me up! I love all things cardio so I this one should be good. I am looking forward to doing this one on the road!

Day 3 – Insane Weights — The weight training from Insanity and Insanity the Asylum are such great workouts so this one should be good!

Day 4 – 25 minute Abs — 25 minutes of core is something that we can all use in our lives.

Day 5 – Ripsanity — Not sure what this one is about but it sounds like it is going to be sweaty and challenging and maybe get us ripped?

Day 6 – Speed 4.0 — The Speed workouts are my favorite workouts from Focus T25 so I am excited that he is continuing this one. When I am on the road and I want a ruthless, quick workout I always have Speed 1.0, 2.0, or 3.0 downloaded to my Ipad.

Day 7 – Dig Deep — This sounds like it is going to be a little bit of everything Friday Fight style. I do not know what to expect except that with Shaun T  you can bet that it will be challenging and that he will motivate us through it!
