I am more than A Little Obsessed and I know you will be too!
I was fortunate enough to be chosen to be in the Coach Test Group of 80 Day Obsession. I have got to work out with Autumn and the 80 Day Obsession Crew live each day as they film the workout for the program. This has been a really neat experience and has motivated me to push myself even harder in my workouts than I usually do. Now you can do this too! You can be a part of a Beachbody on Demand first: Try the brand new 5 day program A Little Obsessed while they film each workout live November 6-10 at 9 AM Pacific Time/12 PM Eastern time. Each workout will only be live for 24 hours then you will not be able to access them again until the official release of A little Obsessed on December 20th. You will need a some equipment to do both the 80 Day Obsession and A Little Obsessed but in order to access them both you will need Beachbody on Demand.
What is A Little Obsessed and why shouldn’t I just wait for the 80 Day Obsession?
There are 3 things you need to know about the 80 Day Obsession: 1. It is a kick ass program that will shred your abs and build your booty. 2. It puts the fitness and nutrition together for an extended time so you build a lifestyle not a quick fix. 3. It releases on January 15th. I have had so many people reach out to me to see if it is too advanced for them and if really will build the booty. This led Autumn and the Beachbody Product Development Team to create A Little Obsessed — five days of workouts and nutrition to serve as a sample of 80 Day Obsession, which starts January 15th. Think of it like a crash course to prepare you for what’s to come but not nearly has hard! Just a small taste.
Beachbody explained it like this, “While the 80 Day Obsession will require the kind of obsessive time each day to really sculpt and build that backside and flatten and tone those abs, each A Little Obsessed workout is less extreme and under 30 minutes to let you learn the moves and prepare you for the more challenging 45- to 60-minute workouts in the full program. While you’ll work your entire body, there’s a strong ab and glute focus. So you’ll get to experience Autumn’s proven techniques for sculpting a firm, round butt and carving out toned, flat abs at the same time as you start to strengthen your entire body and burn serious calories.”
Personally, the thing that I am most excited for people to experience is the taste of timed nutrition with the PCS system. It is what really makes this program unique and something that many people do not know about. It tells you what to eat and when and it is a game changer.
You will need some equipment to get A Little Obsessed…
Jump Mat or a plyometrics mat. These are great if you, like me, work out on a hard surface. These will take some of the impact off of your knees and joints and will give you a cushion for the moves on the floor.
Recover — Your post workout, muscle recovery deliciousness.
Recharge — Overnight recovery that tastes like cookies and cream.
Portion Fix –Your meal guide and portion control containers in one easy to use bundle.
You need to get obsessed about self care too…
One thing that Autumn really hammered in with us in the test group is SELF CARE. I know we all don’t do enough of this so I wanted to include a section with items I use to help with soreness, recovery and relaxation. RECOVERY IS SUPER IMPORTANT so make sure you’re getting enough sleep and listening to your body.
At night I love to take an Epsom salt soak and an all natural bubble bath. If I have a specific body part that is super sore I rub Tiger Balm on it to relieve it. Taking time to stretch, do a little restorative yoga on BOD and to use my rumble roller is a must as well. You are really pushing your body in this program so take the time to take care of it!
You know I am obsessed about workout fashion…
I also get asked about my style and sports bras and what my favorite brands are to workout in so I’m going to include a few items I think are worth trying out or looking at. These are things I would personally wear if you’re looking to adopt my fitness clothing style. I’m a firm believer in buying fitness related items as rewards instead of food so it can not only motivate you for your next workout but also be something you feel you’ve earned! Get yourself something at the end of your A Little Obsessed workout week upon completion and checking in with your coach!
