I couldn’t contain my excitement any longer!! If you’ve been following me on Instagram or Facebook you know I’ve been extra wanderlusty lately and that’s not because I’m restless or discontent. That’s because I’ve been researching lodges, eco-resorts and vacation packages for my travels in 2015. Well, I will be somewhat honest. This new lifestyle has really got me dreaming big! From going to never traveling at all except the bi-yearly holiday visit home (on my parent’s checkbook) to seeing the world one month at a time, has been a trip and a dream come true! So, being home for all of November was a little weird. I’ve really enjoyed this time to explore beautiful Central Oregon where I live but, I’m ready to see some new places! That being said, we’ve officially booked our lodging for our Beachbody ELITE RETREAT that quite a few coaches have been busting tail for (including myself) all year. We’re headed to Jamaica and staying in a charming villa right on the beach in this friendly adventure-travel eco-village in Robins Bay, close to the Blue Mountains! Waterfalls, black sand beaches, stunning mountain views, and yummy authentic home-cooked Jamaican food! I’m not one for hotels. I like to experience the culture of the lands.  Unplug and unwind. No white sandals resort for me, no Wifi, no air conditioning, we’re going to do it RIGHT! If anyone knows how to relax, it’s me and I’m going to relax HARD because I work HARD! 🙂

Now, you must be thinking. “Why on EARTH would someone pay for ME to go on such an amazing trip?” Well, let me give you a little back story. Back in 2012 I finished the year as an ELITE coach (#25 in the company out of around 80K at the time.) It was my second year as a coach, I had quit my job earlier that year as a career student/waitress and gone ALL IN with this crazy opportunity to work from home helping people get healthy and fit. I had zero fitness or business skills but I had a heart for showing others their potential and a passion to pay it forward. My friend who I had signed up as a coach under offered to take me to Belize if I finished ELITE that year and of course, I made it happen! I’ll never forget sitting on that dock with my feet in the Caribbean sea thinking “wow, I can’t believe I’m here right now.” Considering the only other trip out of the US I’d been on as an adult was earlier that year, when I earned a free trip to the Bahamas from Beachbody. It was a surreal moment. The next year we carried on the with tradition and we did Belize again (since I finished TOP 10/ELITE) but nobody on my team had earned it, so it was just me and my friend again. I sat there, for the second year in a row thinking “I wish there was more of us here!” So, I put it out there. I told my team, whoever finishes ELITE will get an all expenses paid trip in 2015 ON ME!!! I wanted to be able to pay it forward like my friend asked me to!

So what does this have to do with YOU? Most people who follow me on Facebook have no idea what I do or think they can’t do it. It’s those select few who find their way to my blog or YOUTUBE and realize I’m just a normal girl that end up contacting me.  Have you ever desired to quit your job and travel the world? Earn your living by helping people from home? Are you a hard worker and are tired of there being a cap on your earning potential? That you have to answer to someone? That you’re busy building someone elses dreams when you could be building yours? That you only have a select few travel weeks a year? Or maybe you do love your job but you’d like to be your OWN boss? You want to travel the world or maybe just be able to spend more time with your family? Whatever it is,  I will tell you. You’re not the only one. Turns out there’s a whole tribe of people like you called TEAM SET YOUR SOUL ON FIRE that are all working together to live a passionate life with no boundaries, no rules and nobody who puts limits on them. Yes, this exists! TWO of them earned this trip this year and BOTH of them signed up at this time last year. In just 12 months their lives have completely changed. BOTH of them made 1K+ last week (yes, in ONE WEEK) and BOTH of them will be joining me on this trip in February. They were BOTH on a free trip with me earlier this year that Beachbody awarded us and I couldn’t be more proud of their growth. It’s been an incredible year for them and their teams and I can’t wait to see what 2015 brings to them! But most of all, I can’t wait to be sitting with them in Jamaica reflecting on these past 12 months and how far we’ve all come and where we’re all going.

I didn’t start this to travel the world, I didn’t start this to be making 6-figures from home, I didn’t start this to be writing this post 2 years after my first Elite retreat asking you to be apart of this. I started this because I wanted to be accountable to my own health and fitness. I started this because I wanted to do something BIG with my life. I started this because I saw people who were having success with it and I thought “WHY NOT ME!!!???”  I started this because I wanted to have an extraordinary story to tell when I’m an old lady and I know I’m not the only one out there like that! I knew I had the work ethic, I knew I had the drive and I made zero excuses in my life for the choices that I made. So what did I do? I contacted my coach on Facebook (who I didn’t know but saw her posts and got inspired) and said “what do I need to do, to do what YOU’RE doing?” She got me signed up, I started off just like everyone else but what set me apart was my belief in myself, my desire to pay it forward and I won’t stop till everyone who is supposed to be on my team traveling the world with me is.
